Baking soda is a product that we usually use in our kitchens. It may surprise you to know that we can use it to a great effect in our gardens as well! Here are the ways you can use it to help your garden!
Healthy Fungicide
To prevent fungus from spreading into our plants we can use baking soda. You just need a gallon of water at lukewarm temperature and 4 spoons of baking soda. Spray it on your plants or vines.
Organic Pesticide
Not only does it help to keep the fungi in check, but it will also do the trick against bugs. You will need 2 tablespoons of baking soda, 1 tablespoon olive oil, a little bit of liquid soap, and around a gallon of water. Spray the mixture into your plants every 3 days.
Get Rid Of Crabgrass
If you dislike as much as we do the chunks of grass that grow between sidewalks, we can help with that. Moist the wanted area put baking soda in there, and you’ll see the results.
Cabbage Worms
If you have problems with cabbage worms, all you have to do is make a mixture of 50% baking soda and 50% white flour, put them in a shaker and then dust the infested plants.
